Update 0.0.5
Hello!
This update brings a bunch more QOL as well as a new rock and a new recipe. Each update will always have a lot of balances made to items and recipes. For now, since the game is so early and small, I will not be documenting each balance change I make. But this will most likely change in the future as more people become interested in the game.
Now I am going to ramble about some thoughts about the game. You can skip to the patch notes if you want them below:
One thing I was working on that did not make it into the update just yet was the prestige system. It has been coded into the game and will most likely make it into next update!
I am considering expanding the hammer machine and adding two extra input slots to make more complex recipes. I want more uses for the gems you find from rocks. So that is where a new recipe comes in: citrine dust. It's made with citrine and diamond. Right now it has no uses (besides doubling the value of the inputs). But I think you will combine it with some ore or ingots to make some fancier items.
I also had another idea that will most likely make its way into the final game; a sort of fulfillment or quest system. The idea is: that you get a few random quests or jobs to choose from where it will request specific items like: 5 steel ingots and 2 citrine. Then if you turn in the quest, you will get some rewards. Most likely money and some XP. The quests can be randomly generated and get more difficult as the game goes on.

Features:
- Added a display for your overall level in the skills menu
- Added pagination to the inventory (finally)
- Added a save button next to the options button
- Added new rock: Boulder
- Added new item: Stone chunk
- Added upgrades for the Coal rock
- Added new item: citrine dust
- Added new hammer recipe: citrine dust => 2 citrine + 1 diamond
Changes:
- Save hotkey changed from 's' to 'insert'
- New sprites for menu buttons
- Some gem sprites changed slightly
- Text from proc'ing skills is removed from log
- Skill menu skills UI made slightly smaller to fit future skills
- Damage text changed slightly
Bugs fixed:
- Hammer sprite appeared in front of menu
- Menus could be opened using their hotkeys even if they weren't unlocked
- Options menu did not close if the options button was clicked when the options menu was already open
